Hi!  My name is Linda, aka “minnemom.”  On this site, I write about the travels, near and far, that I take with my four young children.  Sometimes we go to well-known museums, historic sites, or amusement parks; sometimes we go to out-of-the-way attractions; and sometimes we make our own adventures wherever we happen to be.

I started this site to promote interesting places we’ve been, and to let parents know that they don’t have stay home, just because they have young children.  I have four children, ages 7, 5, 4, and 2, and they love the adventures we go on.  Most of our adventures are in the upper Midwest, but I have guest writers who have added ideas from around the country.
